How to open Pét Nat!

Posted by WCV Team on July 17, 2020

It's summertime and that means the 2019 Pét Nat is the perfect wine to cool down and enjoy some bubbles! This 2019 vintage is a wild one, and we think we should give you all the information you need to keep your Pét Nat be tamed.

This wine is unique in that is bubbly, cloudy, and vibrant all at the same time. The 2019 vintage is one to never forget because of the many varietals it has. Starting of with Sangiovese, then Mourvèdre, to Cinsault, and finally Trebbiano! We just released this wine to our White & Rosé members, and they are going to love it!

Did you know we had a White and Rosé club? If you are a current Hye Society member, you are eligible to join. You can email wineclub@williamchris wines.com for more information!

How to properly open and store your Pét Nat:

1: Store the bottle UPRIGHT

2. Do not shake or jostle the bottle at prior to opening. We recommend keeping it still and upright 2-3 days prior to opening.

3. Serve extremely cold. Putting it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes is recommended. (36 - 40 degrees F)

4. Remove crown cap quickly, and have two glasses ready to pour. This is a WILD wine!
